Tinnitus and Dizziness

Tinnitus is that condition when someone hears abnormal sounds coming from inside the ear. The noise heard may come and go. But sometimes there is a continuous ringing in the ear and the sound is like a low roar or a high pitched ring. This ringing is heard in one or both ears.

You can normally find tinnitus in people who are suffering from Meniere’s disease. However, one of the leading causes of tinnitus is the damage of the inner ear resulted to exposure of loud noises such as gun fire or occupational noise in which if it can be avoided then this can be the most important factor to prevent tinnitus. There are many other causes of tinnitus however such as old age, impacted ear wax which is rare, and some ear infections you might incur.

If a person gets to experience that continuous disturbing ringing in the ear, he would have disruptions in his sleep. Due to lack of sleep, he may experience fatigue, deterioration in work performance, exhaustion and even irritability. The symptoms can cause a disturbance in the lifestyle of the individual involved and his family as well. He may start to feel anxiety and depression and most likely will start to avoid socializing altogether. He may lost his desire to find pleasure and be sensitive to noises. The worst experience could be having palpitations, hypertension, and also hearing loss.

A person with tinnitus commonly experiences tinnitus dizziness but this symptom should not be shrugged off just that. If the dizziness happens in a regular basis and if it is severe, it may mean a serious issue. This condition may be due to sinusitis or hypertension and these manifestations cannot be taken for granted. It is significant that you consult with your doctor to find out any serious medical condition like hypertension. Sometimes the person may experience disequilibrium and it must be kept in mind that your inner ear is responsible for helping to maintain equilibrium.

Besides tinnitus, vertigo and dizziness are also signs of possible medical issues. It might be that there is a condition that can easily be treated and much harder for you to deal with for the rest of your life. However if the tinnitus dizziness you feel happens more frequently and more intensely, it would be necessary to visit and ask the physician. The feeling of dizziness may be a part of tinnitus, but it may also be something much serious and ignoring it may developed into much more serious warning signal or could be something fatal.
